  1. Prices And Product Information Displayed On Our Website
    Our company uses sophisticated automated custom routines to update and maintain our website pricing and product information.  Inventory data is usually updated in real time to give our clients the most accurate information available and pricing is based on daily cost files received from our multiple vendors on weekdays.  Pricing may not be updated on weekends or holidays.  Orders are processed during our regular business hours only.  Orders placed outside of our regular business hours including weekends and holidays, will be processed on the next business day subject to stock and pricing availability.

    Selling prices are calculated based on the lowest cost available from our distribution network without reguards to if the lowest priced distributor actually has stock.  This practice usually guarantees our clients the best pricing. Should the situation arise that we cannot honor a price for an item because the lowest priced distributor does not have stock, will not be getting stock in a timely manner, made a pricing mistake, the costing information we received was obsolete, we could not source the product at a competitive price from another distributor, or you placed your order while we were closed and the pricing was no longer in effect at our distributors on the next business day, we will contact you with your options and cancel the order if that's your decision.

    We do not offer price protection. Most items are sold at deeply discounted prices and are shipped on demand from our distributors and manufacturers which  protect against sudden price fluctuations. This practice allows us to offer the best pricing possible to our clients as we are not forced to maintain higher pricing to clear out overstocked or older inventory. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order with or without notice or to limit quantity. Deposits for orders are non-refundable.

    Product information including photos, descriptions, specifications, warranties, or downloadable materials are provided on an as-in basic because they come from third party sources beyond our control.  We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or claims that maybe stated.  We recommend to our clients that they seek out information on any product directly from the manufacturers website as no other source can be guaranteed accurate.  As we are not responsible for errors in the content, we cannot accept return requests based on any errors displayed on our website.  Note that some product photos may be that of the product series and not of the actual product.
  2. Shipping
    My Teknology Computer Inc. uses only premium carriers with tracking capabilities.
  3. We offer flat rate shipping costs however heavy objects, over-sized items, or geographical areas requiring special delivery or handling can affect the shipping charges beyond our systems ability to calculate. In the event an error is detected, you will be contacted for approval before your order can proceed.  If the actual shipping charge is less than our website's estimated charge, we will not contact you and will charge the lower amount automatically.

    Orders are usually shipped out within 1 to 5 business days depending on the delivery method selected, stock status, stock locations, and the verification of your identity and processing of the charges by your financial institution. We ship orders only when complete to avoid additional shipping charges for our clients unless stated otherwise. If part of your order is backordered, you can contact our Customer Service Department to have what's available shipped immediately for an extra charge.

    If we are unable to ship your order within 5 business days, we will usually contacted advising you of the delay and the estimated shipping date (if available from our vendors).

    For security reasons, we do not ship to addresses with post office box numbers, shopping malls, reservations, or other such locations.  Delivery services are provided on a place to place basis... delivery to an individual it not offered or guaranteed as it is beyond our ability to control.

    A signature is required upon delivery in accordance with with the requirements of our insurance, most credit card institutions, and that of our distributors.

    Whenever possible, we will attempt to ship multiple items together, however we may choose to split ship an order using multiple carriers. This may be required because of items coming from multiple distributors or manufacturers.

    Do not accept shipments if the box or boxes appear damaged in transit.
    Should you accidentally receive and sign for a shipment that was damaged in transit, you must seek compensation from the carrier as our company is responsible only for the shipping of the goods and not damage that occurs in transit.  If you sign for a damaged product, you are accepting the product in that condition.  Unless otherwise indicated, we ship all orders minimally insured to provide our clients with some level of protection. Should damage occur, we will assist you where possible in filing a claim.  Note the most couriers require any claims to be made immediately - usually within five days from the date of receipt.

  5. System Availability
    My Teknology Computer Inc. makes every effort to maintain 100% system availability, except during scheduled maintenance periods. Should we experience technical difficulties, My Teknology Computer Inc. is not responsible for orders that are not processed or accepted.  My Teknology Computer Inc.  sends an order confirmation for each transaction.  If you place an order but failed to receive the emailed order confirmation, we suggest checking your email junk filter or contacting our office to ensure your order was placed successfully.
  6. Payment and Sales Tax
    My Teknology Computer Inc. accepts standard Visa and MasterCard credit cards issued by a Canadian financial institution.  We do not accept American Express, Foreign credit cards, Visa-Debit cards, Gift cards, or the Pay-As-You-Go type of card due to the high risk of fraud.   We do accept Interac eTransfers (debit card) with prior arrangements.  Canadian Government, Government funded institutions, and Fortune 1000 purchase orders accepted - please contact our accounting department for details.

    We do not accept payment from or do business with individuals or businesses outside of Canada for security reasons.

    All payments must be in Canadian funds. Current billing address and phone information must be included with every order.

    The billing and shipping information you provide must match the information held by your financial institution as this information is used in our security verification processes.  If you financial institution cannot verify the information you enter, you will have to contact them to update or correct their records.  There is no exception to this rule for security reasons.

    Sales Tax and environmental levies will be charged depending on the shipping address as required by law. My Teknology does not charge local taxes for Provinces that do not have HST. 

  7. Warranty & Product Return Policy
    My Teknology Computer Inc. is committed to working with you to ensure that every product under warranty performs to the manufacturer's specifications.

    Hardware & Accessories
    The manufacturer’s warranty applies to all new products we sell. Warranty terms and conditions differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Please consult the manufacturers website for detailed warranty information.
    Custom Assembled Systems
    Computer systems assembled by our company are covered by our limited warranty as stated as stated on our website. Our warranty covers diagnostic services and the installation and replacement of defective components replaced by the manufacturers warranty within the actual chassis of the system. The condition of a component will be determine by our service department and a replacement obtained from the manufacturer or distributor according to their warranty terms.  Accessory items including retail boxed monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc. are warranted by the manufacturer and their replacement is governed according to our standard terms stated below for Defective Merchandise - some exception may apply. OEM accessories, usually without boxes, are covered by the system warranty usually for a period of one year. We are not responsible for issues caused by abuse, misuse, viruses, overclocking, customer installed upgrades or errors, manufacturer software patches or upgrades, acts of GOD, theft, fraud, carrier damage, floods, fire, or damage caused by hostile environments or strikes.
    Only the manufacturers warranty applies to software. Software may not be returned without written approval from the manufacturer and opened software is never returnable.  In most cases, manufacturers do not allow the return of software. Before opening the sealed packaging on any software, be sure that you have checked the package and verified that you have received the correct type, version, an language. Read the software licensing agreement before using. We will not be responsible for wrong shipments once the seal has been broken or due to content errors on our website.

    Voided Warranties
    Unauthorized repair or modification of products other than adjustments specified in the product manual or written instructions from the product manufacturer or My Teknology Computer Inc. technical staff will void all warranties. Customer abuse, including inadequately packed products for shipment, will void all warranties. Damage caused by overclocking (forcing a product beyond the manufacturers default specifications) voids the warranty. Over clocking should only be attempted by trained professionals and at their own risk.
